Centre of England Arts offers structured courses and one off workshops in various forms of art and crafts. Each class has step by step instruction, demonstrations and practical work.
Julie Hyde, the founder of Centre of England Arts has been running art classes in Meriden, Coleshill, Coventry and surrounding areas for several years. Following a successful career in engineering, Julie decided to give it up to follow her passion to teach art.
“The aim of the centre is to enable everyone to appreciate and, more importantly, enjoy the arts. I have created Centre of England Arts for adult education and potentially in the future, children’s classes as well. We will be holding regular weekly classes in various subjects including; drawing, watercolours, mixed media, pottery, photography and much more....”
Julie has already been very successful in running regular weekly classes, but demand has outgrown available space and hence she decided to set up the non profit making company and charity, Centre of England Arts, to continue to run classes for all abilities from the complete beginner to the more advanced. Several other tutors have now joined Julie in running many of the classes with more new classes up and coming.
Following of the success of the last six years, Centre of England Arts has now taken over the adjoining unit to run more classes as the demand for these has been so great.
